EQUIP supports The U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR)’s 3.0 strategies, founded on the World Health Organisation (WHO) clinical guidelines, calling for the rapid initiation of people living with HIV to be diagnosed and successfully treated.
With the support of USAID, EQUIP currently provides innovative technical assistance to Ministries of Health and local implementation partners in 18 PEPFAR countries across Africa, South East Asia, Eastern Europe and the Caribbean. EQUIP works with local partners to identify the gaps and develop context-specific rapid-response strategies that help countries reach their 90-90-90 targets.
